Sir Peter Cosgrove
Sir Peter Cosgrove recalls his experiences and contributions during Cyclone Tracy. At the time, Cosgrove was a young officer in the Australian Army. He was involved in the relief and recovery efforts following the devastating cyclone, which caused widespread destruction and loss of life.
Bob Dagworthy vividly recounts the tragic night Cyclone Tracy claimed the lives of two of his crew members. HMAS Arrow was one of the naval vessels caught in the storm and was smashed and then sunk. This tragic event highlighted the ferocity of Cyclone Tracy and the challenges faced by those involved in disaster response efforts.

For the first time, Indigenous Territorians from communities like the Tiwi Islands and Belyuen will share their experiences, offering invaluable insights into their resilience and contributions to the recovery efforts.
